W.W.W. Wednesday

WWW new

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.  All you have to do is answer these 3 questions:

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I am finished reading “How to Catch a Prince” by Leanne Banks

I am reading “Priceless Gifts” by Cara Colter

I am next reading “Heist Society” by Ally Carter

Teaser Tuesday: The Bikini Diaries by Lacey Alexander

The Bikini Diaries by Lacey Alexander

When you pretend to be something, can you really become it? Just from the very act of pretending? Is it that easy, that fast? Who will I be then? At what point do you become the person you’re pretending to be? When is it real? Where is the line between the old you and the you you’ve become?

You can have profound connections with people without having a lasting relationship come from it.

I have to say that getting a kobo was definitely a worthwhile investment. I hadn’t gotten one before, not just because of the expense, but because I didn’t think I would use it all that often. Not so. I LOVE my kobo and would be lost without the online ebook library. That said, I am awaiting a book from said library to put on my kobo. The novel is amazing, the cover is fabulous, and it is scheduled to be released in just a couple of weeks. What is the book you ask? Continue reading “Waiting on Wednesday: Not Telling”

A Special Something by Barbara Delinsky

“I may not have known you five or ten years ago, but I’d guess that you’re one of those women who’s getting better, not older.”

“Oliver Ames,” Leslie scolded gently, “this sounds like a living advertisement. Next thing I know the cameramen will pop out from behind the drapes.”

She wanted a relationship, a closeness, a warmth. She wanted love. She was thirty now; hadn’t she waited long enough?

Simple Smile Saturday: Kitties

Waiting On Wednesday: Prom and Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulberg

WOWnew

“Waiting on Wednesday” is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

I adore anything having to do with “Pride and Prejudice”. The novel by Jane Austen, movie adaptions, book spinoffs, you name it. I remember hearing about this young adult novel a year or so ago, yet the library didn’t have it. I meant to check back again eventually or maybe even buy the book, but actually forgot about it. But recently I came across the title and decided to see if this library (I’d moved since then) had the book and they do! Now I just have to wait for it to come in… Continue reading “Waiting On Wednesday: Prom and Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulberg”
