…it occurred to Silas that he maybe should have tried to fashion a bow out of some of the rope around the parson’s middle to make him look more like a present and less like a prisoner.

Apparently the pixie had challenged the dragon enough for one day.

She might have inherited her mother’s grace and manner, but the woman rode like her outlaw father. Maybe better.
