Release Days!

Two of my favourite authors release new books this week! I was incredibly lucky to have received early copies of both of these novels (Thank You!!!) Marie asked me to do a beta read last year and her book is adorable as she always has hunky guys with swoon-worthy accents! Brenda sent me an ARC of her new novel for review, and I shall be posting that just before Valentine’s Day… That way I won’t give y’all any spoilers and you will have plenty of time to have your own blind dates in preparation for cupid 😉  In the meantime, I have another book review on a novel Brenda co-wrote called “Happy New Year You” that I shall be posting this month as it fits the whole new year/new you theme. I can hardly wait to hear what you think about both of these novels and be sure to check out the back cover description below! Continue reading “Release Days!”

Waiting On Wednesday

royals

I love books with royals in them. I have done so ever since reading Cinderella as a little girl and dreaming of wearing beautiful gowns while dancing at balls with my soulmate… and let’s not forget the tiara. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend after all!

When I happened to see this upcoming release of “Royals” by Rachel Hawkins I went all googley-eyed. The cover alone –all pink and diamond-esque– made me want it, but the story sounds perfect for me too.

This novel comes out on May 1st from PenguinTeen (aka PenguinRandomHouse), but I’m not sure I can wait an entire two weeks for it! Think the publishers will send me an ARC for review if I ask really nicely?

I have to say that getting a kobo was definitely a worthwhile investment. I hadn’t gotten one before, not just because of the expense, but because I didn’t think I would use it all that often. Not so. I LOVE my kobo and would be lost without the online ebook library. That said, I am awaiting a book from said library to put on my kobo.

I have already read this book, but I’m still waiting eagerly for it. As some of y’all know I do freelance editing for a fabulous ebook company, and one of those books I’ve recently worked on is the one I cannot wait for. The novel is amazing, the cover is fabulous, and it is scheduled to be released in just a couple of weeks. What is the book you ask?

You’ll just have to wait too in order to find out!
