Waiting On Wednesday

royals

I love books with royals in them. I have done so ever since reading Cinderella as a little girl and dreaming of wearing beautiful gowns while dancing at balls with my soulmate… and let’s not forget the tiara. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend after all!

When I happened to see this upcoming release of “Royals” by Rachel Hawkins I went all googley-eyed. The cover alone –all pink and diamond-esque– made me want it, but the story sounds perfect for me too.

This novel comes out on May 1st from PenguinTeen (aka PenguinRandomHouse), but I’m not sure I can wait an entire two weeks for it! Think the publishers will send me an ARC for review if I ask really nicely?

I have to say that getting a kobo was definitely a worthwhile investment. I hadn’t gotten one before, not just because of the expense, but because I didn’t think I would use it all that often. Not so. I LOVE my kobo and would be lost without the online ebook library. That said, I am awaiting a book from said library to put on my kobo.

I have already read this book, but I’m still waiting eagerly for it. As some of y’all know I do freelance editing for a fabulous ebook company, and one of those books I’ve recently worked on is the one I cannot wait for. The novel is amazing, the cover is fabulous, and it is scheduled to be released in just a couple of weeks. What is the book you ask?

You’ll just have to wait too in order to find out!

I adore anything having to do with “Pride and Prejudice”. The book by Jane Austen, movie adaptions, book spinoffs, you name it. I remember hearing about this young adult novel a year or so ago, yet the library didn’t have it. I meant to check back again eventually or maybe even buy the book, but actually forgot about it. But recently I came across the title and decided to see if this library (I’d moved since then) had the book and they do! Now I just have to wait for it to come in…
