Today’s smile is… Harper Collins and Simon & Schuster
Some of you may have seen my tweet yesterday giving honourary #FF love to Harper Collins Canada and Simon and Schuster/ Simon Pulse. Usually I do Follow Friday tweets based on a letter –which was ‘G’ yesterday- but I gave a bonus tweet to HCC and S&S because we had an employee of each company as guest speakers in class.
Not only were the lectures quite interesting, but they also brought in books for us! That’s right, FREEEEEE BOOOOOOOKS! I am not going to tell you what they are now, you’ll have to come back for Sunday’s In My Mailbox post to find out about them.
Having good speakers makes me happy, but also getting five amazing books from two really great companies? Oh, yeah, I’m grinning ear to ear!
